The Bloomy House

The fan room was sweet and cozy, and I loved this place. The owner and his family treated me so well that I felt at home during my stay. They’re really friendly and helped whenever I needed something. I definitely need to visit again when I’m in Yogya.

There are only a limited number of rooms, so I hope I can stay longer next time. The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and gave useful advice for getting around Jogja. Just ask them anything. This is a small, lovely hotel near Prawirotaman. The room felt homey rather than luxurious, and was incredibly clean despite being in an old house. Everything, including the towel, looked and smelled clean. Some rooms have a small private garden where you can enjoy the sun from bed. The house stays quite cool even without the fan or AC, though they do have both. Amenities are limited, which makes sense for a place that isn’t a luxury hotel, but there’s tea, coffee, and refillable water in the shared kitchen.

The shared kitchen, fridge, and filtered water were really useful, and there’s a lovely outdoor common area plus a nice seating spot at reception. Our room was comfortable, with the outdoor area a lovely extra. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. Restaurants nearby make the location good, and it’s great value for money. Definitely recommend this homestay in Yogyakarta!

The room was comfortable and well priced. Our double room with garden view had enough space to relax, so all was good. The lovely couple on staff created a great atmosphere and gave us trip advice around Yogyakarta, then helped call a private car at a good price. They provide the essentials, including drinking water dispensers, coffee, tea, even great homemade tea, and a shared kitchen.
