I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially if you're sensitive to smoke or don't smoke. Smoking is allowed everywhere but the rooms, and the smell still gets into them. The staff smoke heavily, and the whole house smells of cigarettes. Cleanliness needs work too: the water dispenser and the pale were very dirty. The location is close to Yogyakarta station, but hard to find because it's down a very narrow alley. Breakfast is bread and coffee. There's a water dispenser, but I didn't try the water because I was worried it might give me a stomach ache. Don't count on a hot shower, soap, shampoo, or a toothbrush. At check-in they said I had to pay 15,000 IDR per night, supposedly required by the Indonesian government for homestays charging guests a certain amount. They refused to give a receipt or even a handwritten acknowledgement. I think the money was for their personal gain, since another Jogja accommodation at a similar rate didn't charge me anything at check-in. I didn't argue because the host seemed a little aggressive.
