The place is cozy, though the nightly rate feels a little pricey.

The pool is large and clean, and the villa staff are friendly and very helpful. The villa is comfortable and right in the city center, near Malioboro and the Jogja government center. I’d stay here again when I visit Jogja.

We came to Ubu Villa for a family graduation stay, and the three rooms had complete facilities for the price. It was clean and tidy, and the service was good. When we had a problem or needed help, they responded quickly. The comfortable setting is handy for graduation events near UIN, Sanata Dharma, Atma Jaya, UNY, and UGM, with places to eat nearby too. Thanks, Ubu Villa, we'd recommend it.

The villa caretaker was kind, and the AC worked well, but there were a lot of problems. The pool smelled strongly of chlorine and hurt the children's eyes, and its sharp steps scratched and injured two children. The front garden looked neglected and a bit scary. The unicorn balloon had deflated before the kids could use it, and the karaoke room was broken. Breakfast was mediocre, and although we ordered for three rooms and six people, food was only prepared for four. The place needs a lot of renovation. Thanks.
