Unisi Hotel Malioboro - Jogja (Syariah)

For our Eid Al Fitr holiday, this budget transit hotel was just right. It's across from the train station, with lots of shops around.

We were impressed by how warmly the welcoming staff greeted our family on arrival, even with a long check-in queue. I noticed a female receptionist, I think her name was Arsi, if I remember right. She was graceful, friendly, informative, and very sweet. The hotel is comfortable and conveniently placed near the city center, Malioboro, and Tugu station, so it suits a transit stay. It looks minimalist, but its friendliness, cleanliness, and food made us feel at ease. I'd be happy to stay again with my family in Jogja. First love, unisi hotel.

I chose a twin room, which was on the small side but still comfortable, especially for anyone traveling on a tighter budget. The food was affordable and they could bring it up to the room. Being close to the train station worked well for me, too.

We arrived early in the morning, so being able to ask for an early check-in and then add six more hours to our stay was really handy. The hotel is a one-minute walk from Yogya's train station, and the staff responded quickly and were very helpful. Our bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom and dining room were both small, as expected, but clean, and the food was nice.
