I planned to stay a day or two, but wound up staying two weeks because I felt so at home. I'd tried a few hostels in the city, and this one was the best for me. It's beautiful, quiet, very clean, and close to everything, with comfort I hadn't expected for such a low nightly price. The shared kitchen has all the cooking tools you need. It seems like the owner really enjoys cooking. The staff, a young man and woman, were cheerful, very friendly, and attentive to every detail. As a solo traveler who's been to many countries, this was one of the best places I've stayed anywhere. No other hostel has given me this level of comfort. I feel lucky to have found it so early. I talked a lot 🤣 but I'm truly happy, and they really deserve it ♥️ Great value for money, thank you.

Easy to reach the main attractions from this well located hostel. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked perfectly. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it.

The kitchen and spacious common area were the best parts for me, and there was even a small party while I was there. They had some beers too ;) It's a lovely, relaxed place to enjoy the city from, close to everything but tucked away from the crowds and main street. Really homey vibe.

Restaurants and shops are all within walking distance. I also liked sitting at the terrace table to chat with other guests, even while it was drizzling. The garden has beautiful, well cared for plants and flowers, and the whole place feels like a home away from home. There's a shared kitchen for cooking and making drinks, plus free drinking water, coffee, and tea. I booked a dorm bed for one night for my very last-minute trip to Jogja. The manager was friendly and quick to respond, and the place was clean and quiet. The public shower room was spacious, very clean, and finished in “black stone”.

Irene was so kind about mailing us our AirPods after we accidentally left them at the homestay. We can't thank her enough, and really appreciate it!! The stay itself was really nice too.
