The room was spacious and clean, with a kitchen and living room among the complete facilities. It’s in a very strategic spot near Malioboro. Highly recommend.

The shared areas and bathroom get cleaned almost every morning, and there’s an open space in the middle of the boarding house. It’s a well equipped place for men in the city center, near Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Yogyakarta State University (UNY), and the University of Yogyakarta (UKDW). The wardrobe, table, chairs, and mattress are all furnished and good quality. There are plenty of laundries nearby, an overnight caretaker, and a responsive owner.

I brought guests from Jakarta to stay here for the first time, and we found the place clean and comfortable, with a homey feel. It’s centrally located and close to both Lempuyangan and Tugu stations, but still quiet. I’ll be back at the end of January.
