Bridge Hotel

Breakfast was included, and after ordering at 7.30 we were eating within 15 minutes. The staff got us sorted incredibly quickly when we arrived without a booking. We asked the girl in the bar about spare rooms, she called the manager, and he came straight over. We were in a room within five minutes. The beds were comfortable, and it had a TV, hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee and milk. The heating worked so well that the room got too hot, so we turned it down and opened the window for a bit. The bathrooms were small, but that didn’t bother us. It’s a lovely little hotel, and the prices are pretty reasonable.

A lovely, homely place, right in the middle of everything. The rooms were clean, though small, and our big case was awkward to manage on the narrow stairs. We should have brought two small cases instead. The staff and owner were so friendly and helpful.

The waterfront location puts plenty of amenities nearby, and the prices are more than reasonable. My room had a relaxed feel and a wonderfully comfortable bed. The staff were genuinely friendly and very accommodating. I’d be glad to visit again.

A tidy, clean room and wonderful staff. It has that old-school country hotel feel.
