The bunk-bed room I shared with my mum was very small, quite a bit smaller than it looked in the pictures. That was my only complaint. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and there was a lovely common area where we spent most of our time at the hostel. The staff were very friendly, too. It’s in an awesome spot for walking to the beach and local restaurants. I’d recommend it for budget accommodation when travelling to ballybunion.

It’s a nice, quiet hostel in a good location, and the only game in town, so I’d stay again. Reception was a bit lacking when it came to answering the door and things like that.
