The place was spacious and clean, and I’d come back. But the bed was so uncomfortable, with springs digging into my hips and knees. I was still walking painfully the next day. The settee was old and rundown too, though clean. A few upgrades could make this a five-star stay.

The apartments have loads of space, so our group didn’t feel cramped at all. Staff were really helpful, and the central Ballyshannon location gave us lovely views over the town and the Erne. I’d highly recommend staying here if you get the chance to visit.

There was barely any hot water, and when it did come on seemed to be at random times. The hallways and stairs were falling apart, yet they tried to charge us €500 for damage to a wall that was barely visible. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Warm, clean, and with plenty of room. A lovely apartment.
