The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable, and breakfast was excellent, especially the black pudding. Davie and Rosie were welcoming and professional, but also great to chat with. They gave us helpful advice about where to eat locally. It felt like a home from home, a great little spot. 10/10, we’ll definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

Rosie and Davie were brilliant hosts, so friendly and helpful. The beautiful room had a really comfortable bed, and breakfast was first class. The sausages and black pudding were the best I’ve ever tasted. I can’t wait to come back.

Food wasn’t being served during our one-night visit to Heron`s Cove, but reception had menus from three nearby eateries, and the hosts pointed us toward our choice. We were warmly welcomed, and the hotel was quiet and restful. Breakfast the next morning was served in a beautiful, bright space with tasteful decor. I’ll make Heron`s Cove a must-stay on our next trip to Donegal. Many thanks to Davy and Rosie for such a genuine welcome.

Davey & Rosie are fabulous people who went out of their way to make our weekend perfect. We had a fantastic stay, with very comfortable beds and a great breakfast to start the day. 10 out of 10 all round.

Rosie & Davey made us feel so welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was lovely, thoughtfully decorated, and had a big modern en-suite shower. The place is easy to find, well cared for, and has plenty of parking. We also appreciated the clean dining room and breakfast cooked to order.
