Spinners on Castle Street

A cozy place with a warm feel and friendly staff. Everything was lovely, especially the beef salad starter and the absolutely delicious baked vegetables. We’ll definitely go again, highly recommended.

This was our favourite meal of a two-week trip around Ireland. The food was top notch, the prices were very reasonable, and everything from the wines and coffee to the amazing desserts was great. Everyone enjoyed their main course, and the staff were courteous and wonderful. We liked the food and atmosphere so much that we cancelled another reservation and came back to enjoy it again. If I could, I’d eat there every week. Highly recommend if you’re nearby!

We stayed one night in this charming guest house, right in the centre. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, with high-end design, and probably among the most beautiful rooms we’ve stayed in anywhere. Breakfast was very good, especially the perfectly scrambled eggs, and the breakfast room was pleasant. We didn’t get a chance to use the courtyard, but will on our return.

We stayed in the Parsons room, and it’s one of the best places I’ve ever stayed, in general, not just for the value. The bedroom is spacious, the bathroom is great, and the owner is such a nice guy. One downside: if you leave the window open, the smell from the kitchen gets into the room, and you can still notice it a bit even with the window closed. I’d strongly recommend staying here.
