The room was really clean and comfortable, though the walls were so thin we could hear people talking in the other rooms. The hosts were lovely and put on a great breakfast.

The rooms were cared for and the B&B is in a lovely spot in Derrynane. Breakfast was tasty, although the orange juice was cordial, and you have to order it the night before. The €25 charge for checking in outside 4-7pm was disappointing. We changed our plans for the day to avoid it.

After hiking the Kerry Way, we had such a lovely stay here. The bay views were stunning, the rooms warm and cosy, and our hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious too. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The room was fine, breakfast was good, and we liked having a cosy sitting room to read in. But after an 18-mile hike, being told we had to arrive by 8pm was a rough start. We reached Caherdaniel at 7:30pm and called to ask if we could have dinner in town and come up around 9. The hosts said we needed to come straight over. Our bags and medication were already at the house, so I didn't want to risk finding out what would happen if we arrived later. We were on a self-guided walking tour booked through a third-party service, and their paperwork hadn't given us a check-in window. That was a no-fault mix-up, but the strict arrival time felt unnecessary for a hospitality business.
