My girlfriend and I were a little nervous because the place was extremely quiet, but the food and service turned out to be top class. We'd meant to go to Waterville, but they were closing up at 8pm. The fish and chips and curry were outrageous, and we shared an unreal chocolate fudge cake. A brilliant experience from start to finish the day before paddy's day.

Leonard is a wonderful host, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our three-night stay. The beds were comfortable, the room was lovely and had everything we needed, and both breakfast and our salmon dinner were delicious. We'd happily recommend this hotel, which felt on a par with 4* places, and we'll definitely return. Ann & Mary.

The ROK Hotel had pleasant staff, great food, and the best cup of coffee I've had in Ireland. I had a wonderful stay and will be recommending it to friends and family looking for somewhere in Kerry. Already looking forward to coming back.

The location, views, and walks were a real treat. There's a supermarket and an automatic laundrette across the road, too. I stayed one night in a lovely room with a comfortable bed, and enjoyed the breakfast and the staff. It felt just luxurious enough without being pretentious.
