The views from the breakfast room over the lough and from the bedroom towards Slieve Foye were spectacular. It's ideally placed just a stone's throw from the village bustle, while the rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Jackie and Kevin are wonderful hosts. We'll definitely be back.

The garden and view were lovely, and there was a picnic area just outside the room. We didn't get to try breakfast, though the other couple who came with us said it was amazing, and the hosts were happy to help with anything. Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, warm and comfortable, with plenty of tea, coffee, milk, towels and toiletries. We stayed for a wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel, an easy walk from both the hotel and Carlingford village. We'd definitely return and recommend it to family and friends.

Kevin and Jackie gave us a great welcome. The room was fabulous and very private, with a little courtyard if you wanted to sit outside. The area is quiet and faces the sea, yet it's an easy stroll to the village and its fantastic restaurants and bars with music. The village itself is lovely to wander around. Breakfast was freshly home cooked, with a great choice of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and jams, and the proprietor was happy to chat. I'd recommend it 150%.

The views were amazing, and both the service and breakfast were wonderful. I stayed at the Shalom for one night for my brother's wedding, and the room was spotless. Such a lovely place, I'd definitely recommend it 👌
