We slept so well in the peaceful, beautiful surroundings, and the walk back last night was lovely under clear skies. The area near the B&B is dark enough to see loads of stars. Grove House B&B was a special stay and really exceeded what we expected. The rooms were spotless, with huge, comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious, with freshly cooked hot food and plenty of cold options. The hostess was warm and friendly, and the cosy sitting area with its cute ornaments and decor felt like being in a welcoming home. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the village centre.

It’s so peaceful and quiet here, yet Carlingford centre is only a short walk away. The room at Grove House B&B was spotless, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were genuinely kind and welcoming, and made every effort to look after us. You can tell they care about their guests and take pride in their work. We’d absolutely stay again and highly recommend Grove House to anyone visiting Carlingford.

We loved our stay here. Wendy was so lovely and helpful, and happily catered for two dietary needs in our group, one vegetarian and one dairy free. The rooms were spotless with incredibly comfortable beds, and breakfast was fab. Highly recommend staying here!

Wendy was a very helpful host, and the setting is stunning, with beautiful grounds. The rooms were spotless and the Irish breakfast was delicious.

Wendy was welcoming and gave me useful tips about the area. I stayed one night in a warm, spacious room with an en suite and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious, and Wendy was very attentive. I’d definitely stay again.
