The beds were comfortable, and both breakfast and the service were delightful. The owners were accommodating and supportive, which meant a lot while we were in a foreign country. A fantastic B&B. I couldn't have asked for more, thank you so much!

I was in Carlow for a course and stayed here for a couple of nights. Usually I choose hotels, so this was my first time in a B&B, and I had a really nice experience. The owners were kind, my room was big and had everything I needed, and breakfast was delicious. It also cost much less than a hotel. I'd recommend staying here.

Greenlane B & B was our little slice of heaven for two beautiful weeks. My cousin Nancy and I came from Oklahoma and Vermont, USA, to visit my Irish family in Carlow in summer 2024. We arranged the trip two months ahead; Red Setter Inn B & B referred us to Greenlane B & B because it was already full. I spoke a few times before the trip with Noeleen, the co-owner and manager, and she was friendly and helpful with all my questions, since I'd never stayed at a B&B. She and her husband, Pat, made us feel welcome and looked after us throughout our stay. Kathleen, Noeleen's cousin, also worked with her from time to time and took such good care of us and everyone else there. We felt special and pampered every single day. We chose the Full Irish Breakfast every day for all two weeks, and it was delicious and filling. Kathleen made sure I had tea, milk, and honey each night, and Noeleen and Pat made sure Nancy had her nightly cup of ice. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the front and back garden views are gorgeous. It's kid friendly, though most of the people we saw were couples and business men. Nancy and I walked into town to shop every day, around 20 minutes, and the train station was 15-20 minutes on foot. We're both in our late 60s, had no trouble walking everywhere, and always felt completely safe. Taxis are available if needed. I can't recommend Greenlane B & B strongly enough to anyone.

Noeleen kept in touch with me right up until we arrived, and when our flight was severely delayed on the first night, she waited up until nearly midnight. She was a great host and Green Lane is in a great spot for Carlow Town centre. My mum and sister had breakfast, and they said Noeleen and the other host took good care of everyone's needs. I didn't have breakfast myself. The five of us fit comfortably in the family room. It was a little dated, but clean and nice. I'd highly recommend staying here when travelling to Carlow, and I'll definitely return. Thanks to Noeleen and all the Green Lane staff 😀

The guest house is in a great location, close to the motorways and still walkable, though it's outside town. Breakfast was good value, and the staff were fantastic. A great guest house.
