The Red Setter B&B is a real gem and great value. I've stayed there often, and the rooms are always spotless and comfortable. Gavin and the team are so welcoming, and breakfast is delicious every time. I've had some of my best nights' sleep there. I'd happily recommend it for a business trip or a getaway, easily five stars plus.

The courtyard parking area is beautiful, and the owners and staff are genuinely lovely, friendly people who made everything easy. We stayed in the new house last night, where the room was exceptionally clean and the bed very comfortable. My only personal downside was the limited vegetarian and vegan breakfast choice. It wouldn't stop me giving this place five stars. Top notch.

Gavin and Triona were so kind and helpful, and made my son and me feel at home at a time when we really needed that. We really appreciated them. The rooms were clean and lovely, and the location was convenient and affordable, with all the sites and everything we needed nearby. I can't say enough about how great the owners are. 💓

Gavin was a great help, and his restaurant suggestion was much appreciated. We were four women in Carlow for a short visit with a friend, and were delighted with this guest house, which had been recommended to us. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the beds were excellent. You'll love it!

Breakfast was included and legendary. This is a lovely B&B right in the middle of Carlow, with a yard for parking. The room was peaceful and clean, and the owner made us feel very welcome. The whole house is tastefully furnished and decorated, with nice books dotted around to browse or read.
