Bush Hotel

The breakfast was great, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The place has plenty of parking, plus two electric car chargers. They even charged my car free overnight. I stayed for two nights recently and enjoyed its cosy, warm bedroom and all its character and charm. Highly recommend.

This was my second stay, after staying here following the Carrick Camino too. There was a small problem at check-in, but it was handled with real care and professionalism. The room and atmosphere were great, and it was great value. I'd highly recommend it.

Good evening, fellow bushers. My friend and I stayed in the Bush on 30/12/25. We'd booked an apartment for six, but only the two of us could make it. They understood, though they couldn't refund us because we booked through booking.com. They did give us breakfast to make up for it, which we badly needed after a night out. The beds were comfortable, both receptionists were lovely, and the food was amazing, though a bit pricey. Jon Joe, the young barman, was attentive and friendly, and made the bar feel warm and inclusive. The manager checked in the next morning to make sure everything was okay. I'll definitely be back. Carrick is a great spot and well worth visiting, but I wouldn't stay here. We were stuck needing a room because accommodation in Carrick fills up at weekends, and paid €375 for one night without breakfast. At that price I expected luxury, but the place was somewhere between basic and grubby. When I asked about it, I was told we could pay extra for breakfast. No thanks. I could have booked the same room for €79 the following night. Greedy and off-putting.
