After a tiring trip, I felt completely relaxed in this spotless, cozy house. It's beautifully designed, and the hostess was attentive and so welcoming. The price was great for what you get, and the location made sightseeing easy, with Blackrock Castle nearby and Cobh reachable by train and ferry. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We had a lovely view from our clean, nicely decorated family room, with stylish modern furniture and a flat-screen TV. The beds were comfortable, the linen was crisp, and the blackout blind and quiet guest house made for a good night's sleep. The friendly hostess had the sweetest dog, and there's off-street parking too. The bathroom was small but fine, although there was no soap. As far as I could tell, there weren't pubs or restaurants nearby, so we drove less than five minutes to Douglas for dinner. There's no cooked breakfast, but the dining room has tea, coffee, toast and cereal. Of the places we stayed during our eight nights, this was the best.

Julie was lovely, and we enjoyed our two nights. The spacious rooms and location were great for exploring Cork, and Julie's dinner suggestions were spot on. Her coffee was the best we had in Ireland. I do wish I'd known before arriving that they don't accept credit cards. I might have missed that on the website or in the emails, but it was a definite drawback.

The owners are so kind and accommodating, and they'll help you get around town if you need it. It feels private even though it's a bed and breakfast, which I liked. The beds are really comfortable, and there's a TV in the room and Wi-Fi, handy since I work from home even on holiday. My boyfriend and I were more than happy with our stay. I'd come back in a heartbeat. Anyone leaving a bad review must be miserable. Come here!

When we arrived at 8:30 PM, a kind, friendly woman welcomed us and was immediately so helpful. Our room was warm, cozy and well equipped, with towels, a hairdryer and a neatly made bed. The bed and both pillows were comfortable. We took four showers and the water stayed hot. Breakfast was small but free, with bread, jam, butter and tea. The Madam gave us tips for visiting Cork and Cobh, then even drove us to the ferry when we had no car and it was raining. I really recommend this peaceful, cozy BnB.
