Maranatha Country House

The room was dreamy, and the bed was so comfortable that we slept better here than anywhere else on our whole trip. Doug and Olwen were wonderful hosts and took great care of us. Staying here was one of those experiences I’ll remember for the rest of my life. I hope we get to come back someday.

We stayed here with our family a few years ago and had a wonderful time. The B&B is absolutely beautiful, and the owners were fantastic. We felt so welcome and would love to visit again soon!

I was here for just one night on a work trip, but I’m already thinking about coming back for a weekend. The house, breakfast rooms, and gardens are stunning, and the family who run it are warm, friendly, and helpful. They made me feel right at home, and the place is even better than the photos. It really sticks with you. There’s a lovely sense of peace and quiet, with great staff and breakfast, while Blarney Castle and Cork city are close by. I’d happily recommend it over a hotel.

We were amazed by our stay and I’d absolutely recommend it! The house is grand and beautifully decorated, with so much detail, but it still feels just right for the place. Wandering through the rooms made us feel like princesses. Our hosts were genuinely welcoming and kind, the garden was lovely and the area peaceful. Keep an eye out for the rabbits. Breakfast was really good, too.
