The woodland paths around the estate made this feel like a proper peaceful break. We spent one night at Farnham Estate for my birthday, and the spa was a big part of why we enjoyed it so much. The pool, sauna and steam room were all great, especially the indoor-outdoor pool. The whole resort felt calm, the grounds are lovely, and everyone we met was warm and friendly. We'd happily return.

Maxwells was a real treat at dinner, and we’re already looking forward to staying again. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable, while the spa was unusually quiet, which was a lovely extra. As soon as we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, just as they always do.

We went with family and friends for a special weekend, and the grounds were wonderful to explore. Dinner was the one letdown for some of our group: a few are fussy eaters, and there wasn't a roast beef or turkey option on the menu. I know several of them would have preferred one.

The spa still has plenty of loungers and is a relaxing place to spend time, but it could use an update. It looks worn and much as it did on our last visit, and I found the pool too cool to be comfortable. Even so, we enjoyed a couple of hours in the thermal suite during our one-night stay. The food was delicious, the service was very good, and breakfast was especially fresh with lots to choose from. We had a lovely stay and would recommend it.

The grounds are gorgeous, and the hotel itself is hard to believe. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment we came through the front door, and the food was absolutely delicious. I'd highly recommend staying here.
