The one real plus for us was the location, close to Clifden and Connemara. Unfortunately, the place didn't live up to the positive reviews we'd read. The room felt dated, with the sink inside the room and a very cramped bathroom. It was on the ground floor, with windows looking straight onto the parking area, so we had to keep the curtains closed all day. We also didn't like the atmosphere. The owner came across as rather cold, and her way of dealing with guests felt artificial to us. Breakfast was among the worst we had on our trip in Ireland.

We felt right at home thanks to Deborah, who was a great host. Our bright, modern room was well furnished, and breakfast was amazing, especially the pancakes and fruit salad. I definitely recommend Atlantic View B&B.

Breakfast was just what we wanted, and the night before you fill out a sheet to choose what you'd like. The room was small, but clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Margaret is a wonderful, bubbly host. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Margaret's place. It's a cute house on a hill overlooking a bay in the background. We're already thinking about coming back.

We stayed in a few clean B&B homes along the coastline last year. The exceptional breakfasts and the owners' hospitality make me want to return and finish the loop.

The owners were wonderful, welcoming and incredibly helpful. They even helped me sort out some cellphone problems and book my accommodation for the following night. The room was beautifully decorated and really comfortable, and the delicious breakfast was another highlight. It's just off the main road and less than a five-minute drive to Clifden centre, with all its restaurants and pubs. I highly recommend it!
