The breakfast was amazing, with fruit salad to start, an Irish fry and a lovely homemade tart. Frederique was kind, lovely and enthusiastic, and we enjoyed every moment. When my mom and I arrived, we could choose between a double or twin room. While we waited, they brought us tea, coffee and a biscuit. Our room was cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed. The location along the sky road is amazing, and the breakfast area has a great view.

We were so glad to see Frederique again on our second visit to Clifden Bay Lodge. Her warmth and hospitality are a big part of what makes the place so inviting. The room was extremely comfortable, and breakfast was satisfying and beautifully presented. Can't wait to come back to Clifden.

Frederique was lovely to talk with, and her homemade French tarts were heavenly. I stayed with my mom and aunt, and my mom and I loved our cozy, well-decorated room. We felt right at home in Frederique's beautiful, comfortable house, which is in a stunning location. This was my first stay at Clifden Bay Lodge, but I hope it won't be my last. Highly recommend it if you're passing through Clifden.

The host is French and has 20 years of B&B experience, which really shows. She also gave us great tips on places to photograph. Our upstairs room was warm and comfortable, with amazing bay views in the morning. The spacious ensuite had everything we could need, and breakfast was a generous full Irish.

We were right by the ocean, just five minutes from Clifden centre. Frédérique was incredibly kind and pointed us towards hidden gems in Connemara. She also made one of the best Irish breakfasts we've had in years, with homemade scones, pancakes and jam, served on the veranda facing Clifden bay. A little bit of France in Connemara. Thank you very much. Cheers, Uinsionn.
