Hawthorn Lodge was a comfortable, welcoming place to come back to after exploring the west of Ireland. Our bedroom was spotless and clearly well cared for, and the lodge felt clean and well maintained throughout. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, happy to chat and share suggestions. The price felt very reasonable for the quality and location. It’s within walking distance of town and all the amenities you need. We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend it.

The setting was lovely, and the lodge was clean throughout, including our room. My partner and I spent a weekend there and really enjoyed it. It’s an easy walk to the centre of Clifden, and breakfast was great. The coffee machine was a nice extra. I’d happily recommend it as a place to stay in Clifden.

Hawthorn Lodge is in beautiful Clifden, close to some of the most stunning places in Connemara. The hotel was extremely clean, quiet and comfortable, with wonderful staff who were professional and so friendly. Breakfast was fresh and wonderful, served by lovely staff. Absolutely fabulous, and I highly recommend it. Regards Karim
