The view from our room was spectacular, and it was airy with a comfortable bed and a nice shower. Breakfast was well cooked, and I appreciated that everything was laid out separately instead of all being piled together. Lydie was a wonderful, friendly and welcoming hostess, and clearly creative too, with homemade jams and spreads. The setting is lovely, down a winding little road opposite the water, with only the lapping water and morning birds breaking the quiet. We had a fantastic stay, and Clifden was close enough for a great meal out at Guys.

Waterfront Rest B&B is a lovely quiet place near Cliffden, with a beautiful view of the water right in front of the house. The rooms are spacious and breakfast was delicious. The owner is an artist, and her wonderful work is displayed around the house.

A perfect base for exploring Connemara, with great views. The host was amazingly kind and thoughtful.

We were warmly greeted by Lydie, who was attentive, organised, and full of useful tips for local walks and places to eat in town. The room and bathroom were very clean, and fresh towels and a tidy room were provided each day. The room was a little basic, but had what we needed after being out all day: a good bed, heating, a decent bathroom, and a lovely view to wake up to. Breakfast was a very good Irish one with just the right portion, plus continental choices and homemade jams and spreads. We stayed three nights to visit Connemara National Park and take in the scenery along part of the Wild Atlantic Way. The location on Sky Road near Clifden, Galway felt magical. It was a great experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a B&B in this part of Ireland. Clifden itself is lovely, with plenty of food and drink options, and some bars have live music on weekends.

Lydie was such a welcoming, perfect host. We had dinner at the B&B with food we'd brought along, and she was sweet enough to set a table for us. The spacious room looked out over the water, and breakfast the next morning came quickly and was delicious. We stayed one night and enjoyed it so, so much.
