We only popped in for a meal and were delighted we did. The Sunday carvery was flawless, with generous portions and a great range of tasty vegetables and sides. Dessert and coffee were just as good. There was loads of choice, including bread and butter pudding, jelly, trifle and rice pudding, plus a gluten-free shelf with great options. Thank you.

The rooms are amazing and very comfortable, with plenty of parking round the back. Bar staff were lovely and friendly, and the food, including breakfast, was excellent. But the two girls serving breakfast need some manners. We waited ages for anyone to take our order, then went to the counter to ask how to order. The reply was, "I'm busy!!!" even though we were the only ones there. We felt like we were in the way.

Sharon and Gerry were a pleasure to deal with when we booked Mulcahy's for Fran's funeral reception. There were 65 to 70 of us, and the staff set aside the restaurant area for our group. The carvery, desserts and soft drinks were excellent, with a big choice of food. Service was effortless, and it all felt relaxed and enjoyable. Great value, 10/10. Highly recommend. Well done to Sharon and staff. David and Margaret

I dropped in while visiting friends over Christmas Eve and the following days, waiting for my lift. The place was buzzing for that time of year, and the staff were working their socks off. Someone ordered a hot whiskey for a laugh, but it never arrived. I got chatting with the locals and could've stayed forever ♾️. I accused a young fella of calling me a dirty old hoor. He was ordering Coors...
