The room was well kept and affordable, and breakfast in the morning was nice. It’s less than a few minutes from pretty much everything in central Kilkenny. I’ll choose this excellent B&B over a hotel next time I’m in town.

Our host was very friendly and helpful, and the place is within walking distance of the shops. We had a comfortable bed and a good breakfast, and really enjoyed our night here. We also took the Smithwick tour, which was fun. It isn’t an active brewery now, but they do a nice job explaining its history and brewing process.

The walls were a little thin, so we could hear people moving around the house, but it wasn’t a problem. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was great, and the location was quiet, with a short walk to the river and castle. The staff were friendly and helpful during our one-night stop on an Ireland road trip. We’d stay again.

The host was welcoming and accommodating. Since we had to leave early, he offered to start breakfast 15 minutes before the usual time. The room and bathroom were clean, and the B&B is conveniently placed between the city centre and the station. The soundproofing could be better, so I’d bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. I’d definitely come back.

The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had, especially the bacon, cooked to perfection. The hosts were so welcoming, and everything in the room was comfortable and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the temperature was just right. A picturesque short walk takes you into the city centre, making this a perfect base for a city visit. We loved everything about this B&B and can’t recommend it enough.
