WatersEdge Hotel

We’ve just returned from three nights at this beautiful hotel right on the water. The food was five-star throughout, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. A special thanks to David for arranging the beautiful Sea view room. I highly recommend a visit.

We loved watching the activity in Cork Harbour from WatersEdge, the views were stunning. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring Cobh, with the waterfront, shops, and cafes just a short walk away. The town itself is full of character and history. Our room was modern and comfortable, and the bed was so relaxing after a long day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. I had a fantastic one-night stay at WatersEdge and would definitely recommend it for a comfortable, convenient visit. Can’t wait to come back!

We spotted dolphins from our comfortable room, which had stunning bay views. The location was fantastic, the staff were amazing, and breakfast was excellent, with fresh products. The restaurant food was outstanding.

The location is great, just a minute from the center of this small town, and there’s good underground parking. We booked at the last minute and got a sea view room. It’s definitely worth paying extra for that option if it’s available, especially if you happen to be there when one of the giant cruise liners comes alongside. The window gives an amazing view, though the room felt a bit dated and didn’t have much atmosphere. Dinner was pleasant enough, but there didn’t seem to be much direction from the staff. Breakfast was really not good. At 8am the buffet scrambled eggs were already solidifying, the sausages weren’t appealing, and one serving dish was broken and couldn’t be opened. I’m told it had the bacon in it, which was unappealing too. This could be a really smashing hotel, but it seems to lack care from its owners.
