We chose to stay in Cork overnight while attending CUH, and being allowed to check in early was a huge help after our 5am start. We had a quiet room at the back, with clean, nicely decorated rooms, a fridge, and tea and coffee facilities. The hotel also kept some food for our baby, and provided a spotless travel cot for our one-year-old. It’s warm inside, with no air conditioning, so summer could be uncomfortable. We had the window open all night even in February. At checkout they offered us water for the drive home, a thoughtful touch I haven’t had even at some five-star hotels. We skipped breakfast as €20 per person felt steep when you can get something good elsewhere for 50-75% of that. Parking is free and registered, and the hotel is very central. We booked a couple of weeks ahead and will definitely stay again.

We had a quiet, cosy room, number 409, looking out over the back of the building. The kettle and coffee machine were clean, which was appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful, though it could have used orange juice. Parking was convenient and checkout easy. We did have to get our keycards updated on day two, the only little hiccup. A good small-to-medium hotel close to the city centre.

The room was huge and really comfortable, and we found the hotel cosy and lovely during a rainy night in Cork. It’s only a couple of blocks from all the action, with free parking at the back. It is a bit pricey, but the location is hard to beat.

Our rooms stayed hot the whole time, even though it was chilly outside and we had the heat turned completely off. That was the one small downside. The rooms were otherwise large and comfortable, the location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I’d stay here again.

It was handy having parking on site, and the reception team were warm and helpful. The hotel is very central, and our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We’d recommend it to friends and family.
