Ann was the best part of our stay. She runs these lovely cottages and was warm, kind, and incredibly helpful. I don’t understand the negative reviews about her at all. I’m so glad we stayed here, and you won’t regret it. The Sheephouse Country Courtyard is beautiful and peaceful, right out in the countryside. The grounds are gorgeous, the rooms are wonderful, and the beds and pillows are comfortable. It has every appliance you could ask for and fast wifi. It’s about 30 minutes outside the bustle of Dublin, and Drogheda has plenty of food and drink options. Try Maggie Mays for a small Irish bar. John the bartender is a beautiful human who makes you feel like family! ❤️❤️

We booked months ahead for a big group of young adults and young families, hoping to get together, relax, and see each other again. The hosts cancelled just three days before our stay, leaving us too little time to find another place for 11 people. Terrible business practice. If you need somewhere reliable, avoid this place at all costs.

Ann was a really welcoming and helpful host, and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a lovely stay in a beautiful house with all the modern conveniences we needed. It’s very handy for Drogheda and Newgrange.

I booked months ahead, then got an email from the booking site a few days before our stay saying the accommodation was cancelled due to overbooking. The owner didn’t contact us directly. Everywhere else was booked, so we were left without a place to stay and our holiday plans were ruined. If you want a guaranteed stay, I wouldn’t book here. They may cancel on you at the last minute too.

We booked months in advance for a large group travelling from several countries, with flights and babysitters already arranged. Three days before the booking, the host cancelled because of overbooking. Several people are now left without anywhere to stay and can’t get their flights refunded. This host can wreck your holiday plans. Avoid at all costs.
