The Pipers Rest

We only stayed one night, and it was such a cute, genuine place. A couple of pubs with great food were close by, and we liked the cosy room and delicious breakfast. My one complaint is the mattress, it felt old and was really uncomfortable.

The breakfast was amazing, and the friendly hosts were happy to help us plan our trip. We found the stay great value and would come back, especially for breakfast. There are several pubs within walking distance, and the location was wonderful. The walls were extremely thin, though, so we could hear people checking in and eating breakfast. I also hadn’t realized we needed to let them know if we’d arrive after 6pm. That was my mistake, but timing can be hard to predict on an Irish road trip. I’d still recommend staying here.

The staff made us feel completely at home, like we’d never left. We were so glad we chose Pipers Rest for our recent evening stay. The room was comfortable, breakfast was fantastic, and it’s very well placed for visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Waking up to a horse’s sound was a lovely welcome, thanks to the staff for the enjoyable stay, not the horse.

We were touring by bike, and the host looked after us so well. The welcome was warm, and the rooms and breakfast were excellent. There are lively music pubs serving good food nearby, yet they’re far enough away that the stay remained quiet and peaceful. The location worked really well for us.
