The hosts, Siobhan and Val, knew the area well and helped us track down our family’s old home. We stayed two nights in August 2025. The place was very clean, breakfast was great, and parking was no problem.

We loved the views and sunsets, and Melody, their sweet pony, was a lovely new friend. For our family of three, the lower-level apartment at La Mirage was just right for two nights during our two-week Ireland tour. It was clean and spacious, parking was easy, and Siobhan and Val made us feel at home. Breakfast was great. The B&B is a quick drive into town and works well for different day trips.

The surrounding views were lovely, and it was absolutely quiet at night. Bantry is a few minutes away by car, which is a small drawback if you want to eat out in the evening, though that also gives the place its peaceful setting. Our room was spacious, spotless, and freshly renovated, and the host was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We stayed one night at this gorgeous place. 10/10, will come again!

Afternoon tea and breakfast were both delicious. My wife and I had a wonderful two-night stay. Our hosts went to every effort to make us feel at home and were very welcoming. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!
