My husband and I stayed one night at Niche living last weekend. The receptionist welcomed us warmly and showed us to our studio apartment for two. It was lovely and had everything we needed: kettle, toaster, microwave, hob, dishes, cutlery, frying pan, and saucepans. There was tea, coffee, milk, and bottled water in the fridge, plus plenty of storage. The toilet and shower were separate. The building also has a shared kitchen, gym, cinema room, and laundrette. It’s a five-minute walk to the RDS and the dart station, and about 15 minutes on foot to RTE studio or St Vincent hospital. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. No children under 18.

We stayed two nights for the rugby this month, and everything was just right, from the lovely staff to how clean the place was. The location is handy for the Aviva and RDS, with plenty of cafés and pubs nearby, plus Herbert Park. I’ll definitely make this one of my regular places to stay in Dublin.

I couldn’t travel because of circumstances I hadn’t expected, so I tried several times to work something out with the hotel. I even offered to pay more to rebook, but the replies were curt and dismissive, and they wouldn’t agree to cancel or change the booking. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told they weren’t available. That was hard to believe, since the manager had just turned down my request on Booking minutes earlier. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t communicate honestly or offer reasonable help. Be careful when choosing this hotel.

The setup is very convenient, with everything you need in one secure, well-maintained building. It’s in a great spot in Ballsbridge, and the whole stay was hassle-free. The modern, high-spec finish, spacious and comfortable social rooms, gym, and cinema room were all good. I’d recommend it for a short stay.

Really quiet, clean and spacious, with a great kitchen on every floor. Highly recommended 👌
