You can get around easily from here: everything is within walking distance, and the 411 stops just outside the main entrance at street level. Take it into town, or catch it from the other side of the road towards Oranmore. The rooms are very basic, like a student dorm. I came here after Goldcrest, and the difference between the two was striking. It was safe enough, and there was hot water in the shower if you were quick. In colder weather it gets drafty, and spiders get in from all over because it isn't sealed as well as the newer dorms. I'd recommend it if you're not fussy.

Way too expensive for what you get. The facilities feel like they're from the 60s, the toilets are like a prison's, and the place is in the middle of nowhere with poor transport links. Don't stay here, find somewhere else in Galway.

The student rooms are really spacious, and getting to the university is easy.

Being close to the university campus is a real plus, and the place itself is lovely. There are four rooms sharing the bathrooms, but the kitchen is tiny for that many people. Housekeeping comes every day and swaps the towels, but the sheets aren't changed. They also don't clean the apartment unless you call reception. The toilet and bath were really dirty and disgusting to use.

There’s a well-equipped store on the grounds, along with comfortable shared facilities. The place is surrounded by greenery, and the rooms are OK. The kitchen works well too. The bus stop for town is only three minutes away, though you can also walk into the city on a pleasant riverside trail.
