Britain Quay

We spent two weeks in this lovely, quiet apartment while searching for a home in Dublin. The design is very nice, and it was a much more competitive option than a local hotel. It’s secure and close to the shops and restaurants at the Grand Canal dock. Central Dublin is only a 10 minute ride away, with several public transport routes to choose from. We highly recommend it for short or long stays.

The location was fantastic, with Trinity College within walking distance and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. We’ve stayed in Sonder’s in other cities and have never been disappointed, and this one was exceptional. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the building feels very secure, and the staff are always helpful and responsive. We’ll definitely stay again.

We had a two bedroom, two bathroom suite for two weeks with three adults and an infant, and it was really nice. The rooms were roomy, and the whole place was bigger than I’d expected, with a full kitchen and living area. Staff replied quickly through the app chat and brought a few extra things we asked for, including dishwasher and laundry pods. The location worked really well too, with coffee shops, supermarkets, public transport and taxis nearby. It was an easy walk to anywhere in town, and we found Dublin very accessible with a stroller. 10/10, I’d recommend it to anyone planning a longer stay in Dublin.

We left before our stay was over because we no longer felt safe in the apartment. Contractors had been allowed in without any advance notice, and we only learned they were there when my husband came back and found them inside. We had no chance to put away valuables. Customer service offered little beyond saying it wouldn't happen again. Even after we told them we'd left early, checkout emails kept coming, so it seemed our departure hadn't been recorded. The whole thing was incredibly stressful, and I can't recommend this place. It presents itself as a corporate, luxury alternative to Airbnb, but felt just as unsafe as an average Airbnb. For much less money, you could find a better place with similar security issues.
