Marie greeted us at the door with a big smile and offered tea in the sitting room, a lovely gesture after a full day of travel. Our room was just right, with comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, and sheets that smelled great. Breakfast was available, and there was a bus stop a four-minute walk away. Restaurants and a grocery store were less than ten minutes away. We had an incredible time at St. Aiden's Guesthouse and will stay there again when we're back in Dublin.

We slept better here than anywhere, thanks to a very comfy bed and bedding, lots of pillows, blackout blinds, and a quiet spot. The room also had tea, a TV, plenty of lights, and a lovely hot shower, with towels provided. The host's little kitchen with breakfast supplies was a thoughtful touch, and parking was no problem. A cosy guesthouse, and the best place we've stayed with our kids. We'll book again next time we're in Dublin.

Marie is a kind, wonderful host, and her room-tidying team responded quickly whenever I needed anything. Their service was a highlight of my trip. The rooms were cleaned daily, the bed was very comfortable, the shower got quite hot, and everything was spotless. I also liked the fire in the sitting room each evening. I stayed in the single twin room while visiting family in Terenure. It suited me perfectly as a solo traveler, felt safe, and was good value. St. Aidens is more practical for visiting Dublin suburbs: getting to the city centre takes about an hour on foot or a €20 taxi ride, so casual tourists may prefer somewhere closer. I'll stay again next time I visit family.

The guesthouse was wonderfully quiet. From our windows, all we could hear was birdsong, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed walking to nearby parks and finding some magnificent churches, then having a pint at the Bottler’s Bank, just a short stroll away. The shared little kitchen was handy, and tea and coffee were available all day in the rooms. Breakfast was good, too. We had a great weekend, and the city centre is about 20 minutes south by bus, with several routes making Dublin's attractions easy to reach.

I spent three nights here and could get around easily, even though the city centre is a bit far if you're not comfortable with Dublin buses. There's a bus stop a short walk away with a route all the way to the airport. I wandered around the area and found good food and interesting shops, had breakfast at Lark, and bought Dublin prints from the Papermint bookshop. It's a very cute neighbourhood. My single room was small but worked perfectly for solo travel. It had everything I needed, fresh drinking water, and a very comfortable bed. I'd heard some people had trouble with hot water, but all my showers were great. It took me a moment to figure out which way to turn the temperature dial, so try it a few times if it isn't obvious. The hostess was kind and helped me with bus directions. I mostly kept to myself and caught up on sleep, and liked having the comfortable front sitting room to relax in. St. Aiden's is clean, well priced, and in a quieter part of Dublin. I hope to come back.
