We found this place on a very tight budget, and if it's your only option, I'd choose an apartment on a higher floor. We slept well on the second night after asking to move, and the owners kindly moved us. Had I known what to expect, I'd have paid more for a better place now that I'm no longer a student. Even on a very tight budget, I'd consider looking elsewhere. The owners should spend a week in one of these apartments and could probably find inexpensive ways to improve things for future guests. The first night was awful. Our ground-floor unit was extremely noisy, with street noise and another strange sound. The bathroom window looked onto a space where people might be able to see you. The top-floor room on the second night had no noise problem, and we could finally sleep, which was all we wanted. The place was kind of clean, but the air vent was disgusting. The mattresses were cheap, overly soft, and stringy, and the appliances barely worked. We couldn't adjust the water properly.

A little work and care could make this a nice place, but as it is, it was disappointing. The door lock was badly damaged, so someone could have gotten into our room quite easily, and the host wasn't helpful. The beds and sofa bed were worn out, and the whole place needs some TLC.

The location is great, but the building needs better upkeep. The stairs and floors aren't cleaned, and the bins are in poor condition, making the place feel unhygienic. The entrance door also doesn't work properly and is easy to open, which made it feel unsafe.

It’s a spacious apartment in a handy location, and it could have been really nice. But it felt worn down, was only moderately clean, and there were silverfish. The bed was terrible, and the shower had no hot water. I wouldn’t book it again.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The street didn’t feel very safe, and there was broken glass on the room floor that cut my leg. The fans in the apartment were falling apart too.
