Highfield House

The activities were a good way to meet people, and public transport is only seconds away. The staff were friendly and helpful from my application right through to leaving, which made the stay feel easy. Highfield House has very modern facilities, from well-equipped rooms and kitchens to smart washing machines that let you know when they're finished. The Wi-Fi was fast too. Great place for studying in the area.

I was a little nervous after reading the reviews, but this was a great surprise for summer accommodation at this price. The bed was comfy, the showers were good, and the staff were helpful. It's a bit far from the center, though there's a tram stop right outside and you can also walk there without it being too far. Highly suggested.

The reception staff were very kind, and the place itself seems quite new, but the room cleaning was terrible. The floor hadn't even been vacuumed, the toilet was dirty and I cleaned the seat myself, and there was hair from the previous guest in the shower and around the room. When I opened the duvet, the bed linen looked as though it had been left used rather than prepared for a new guest. I paid a lot for this place and got only a private bathroom. Definitely not recommend.

The staff were really friendly and the location was very good. We could hear people outside because it isn't very isolated, but apart from that we were happy with the stay and felt it was worth the price. The place seemed pretty new, and the big gym was a real plus. There was no breakfast option, though, and going out for breakfast can get expensive.
