Maldron Hotel Parnell Square Dublin City

The rooms were good, but getting coffee or food before 7 a.m. was impossible. There aren't any cafes nearby, and when we asked, the woman managing the hotel Cafe just lectured us about the opening hours. Most international Travellers need to get to the airport early. She could have switched on the machine so we could get coffee, but instead she was rude. If you're flying back to the US and want a morning coffee, I'd give this hotel a miss.

Parking was the one frustrating part. I'd emailed ahead to ask about the off-site car park and got no reply. At check-in they gave me a discount code and instructions to pre-book, but we'd already parked. We had to return to the car park, pay, leave, then come back under the new arrangement. Sending the details beforehand, or advising us to check in before parking, would have prevented the hassle. Apart from that, it was a great hotel. The room and hotel were lovely, breakfast was good, everything was very clean, and the restaurant staff were great.

Clean, quiet room on the fourth floor, and the service was polite and professional. The lobby was functional, as was the hotel generally. Breakfast was okay, though it could have been hotter. Calling the room deluxe is a bit of a stretch: there was one chair and the window looked onto two stainless steel chimney flues. It's cost effective if you just need somewhere to sleep, eat out, and explore the city centre.

The bed was so comfortable, and the pillows were the best I've ever slept on 🥹. The staff were really friendly and I enjoyed the service. It's a very nice hotel in a great spot close to the city centre. Breakfast was good, though it might get boring on a longer stay. A bit more variety would help, and lactose-free milk or yogurt would be nice. The room felt a little tired too, and the floor made loud, sad noises 🥲.
