I stayed for just under a week and found it good value for the price. The location was handy, walkable to the city centre but far enough out that nights were fairly quiet. The rooms were good, with a few lockers and plenty of power outlets. Facilities weren't especially new, but as far as I could tell they worked and were well maintained. There were lots of young tourists and backpackers, and in the evenings there was always someone to talk to, whether guest or staff. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Times Camden Hostel brings together people from so many countries under one roof, and I made loads of friends there. The staff work hard day and night, are always ready to help, and are friendly and kind. I really appreciated the cleanliness, service, atmosphere, and the activities they put on each day, which helped make it a welcoming place for everyone. Thanks for having me and treating me like family. I don't know everyone's name, but Barbara, Roberto, Eddie, Sunny, Thomas, and Anny, you're all doing a great job.

We had a private room that was nice, though it wasn't the room shown on the website, and that was a bit annoying since the advertised one looked amazing. The bathroom was lovely, and the service was very friendly. Tea and coffee are available in the kitchen, and you can get towels to hire for free at reception. It's a 15-minute walk to the city centre. The place was nice overall and reasonably priced. The €25 late checkout fine seems a bit harsh, though I'm not sure how strictly they enforce it.

The shared space had comfy sofas and the WiFi was quick, around 60mb. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including cereal, toast and fruit, plus waffles and pancakes on Saturday. The staff were friendly, and our room had a nice en-suite shower. I did keep brushing crumbs or dirt off my feet because the floor wasn’t very clean. Apart from that, it was a lovely hostel and a great stay.

The staff were nice and the place itself is pleasant. I missed having a lounge where you could sit down to read, work, or just relax, and the stairs up to the rooms are quite narrow. There are metal storage cages under the beds, but you’ll need to bring a lock or buy one there.
