The room was tiny and cold because the window was broken, though they did provide an electric heater. The bathroom looked new and was pleasant enough, apart from its freezing floor. The double bed was soft but on the narrow side, and street noise carried on constantly, even if it wasn't unbearable. The location is handy, with everything within about a 30-minute walk. Weekdays would probably be better, since the area gets very crowded on weekends. Nothing especially good or bad about the stay.

The food was spot on, and I could watch William cook and prepare everything himself. It's a lovely place, and he's so polite and friendly.

The location worked really well: quiet enough to sleep, but close enough to walk to most places, with good restaurants and small food shops nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the maid service was great. For a budget hotel, it was OK for the price. Breakfast was just so-so, most rooms are very small, and even after paying extra for a larger room I had a 15-inch TV.

The location was great and the staff were helpful and nice, but the rooms were awful. The bedroom was really cramped, and the bathroom was so tiny you could use the toilet, wash your hands, and turn on the shower all at once. The shower opening was narrow, and even at five feet tall I couldn't bend down to wash my feet. It's smaller than a cruise ship shower. There was mildew in the bottom of the soap holder and around the inside of the shower.

The little guest waiting area and smoking garden were really pleasant, with comfy sofas, a TV, and an espresso machine you can use yourself. The hotel is right in the city centre, which was perfect. Our room was clean, and the young woman at reception was attentive and helpful. It was a bit chilly, though, because the window didn't seal properly and cold air came in overnight.
