The garden and house are beautiful, and breakfast was incredible. We spent two nights here in July and felt at home straight away. The hosts were so kind. We couldn't have picked a better place.

The grounds were full of flowers, and they even served figs picked right there. I stayed with my mum and son, and our host was thoughtful and really helpful. Breakfast had loads of choices and looked beautiful. A picture perfect Irish B&B.

The garden has been developed further by Ingolf and Andy, and a wander along its winding paths is a must. You come across unexpected, often exotic plants, but the planting still feels so natural, as if each one found its own spot. On our frequent visits, our German hosts always give us a warm Irish welcome.

There’s a lovely garden with all kinds of plants and trees, and the place has an interesting old history. It’s peaceful, the host is helpful, and breakfast is nice. I’d recommend staying here. Pia from Denmark

The Cowhouse is a lovely cottage and a great base for hiking, exploring West Cork, touring gardens, or simply taking it easy. Ballycommane's garden is stunning, with plenty of lovely, rare plants. Ingolf and Andy are genuinely lovely and very helpful. We'll definitely return.
