The bar team were lovely and helpful too. When I was feeling unwell, the receptionist arranged room service for me even though breakfast is normally buffet style and isn't served to rooms. She really went out of her way, and nothing seemed like a bother. Thanks so much ❤️

Nicola was so attentive and friendly with all of us, including our four-year-old, and Mo the manager came over for a warm, welcoming chat. The food was excellent. I had the fish and chips, which were spot on, and got to try some of the chicken and ham pie special too. The menu has lots to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep. For €100 on a Thursday, this was great value and about 3.5 times cheaper than nearby Johnstown Estate, without being anywhere near 3.5 times worse. It's now my go-to stop on the way to or from Dublin. My single room cost €100 without breakfast, and the prices I saw ranged from €100-€131. The room felt old-fashioned and a little tired, but it was clean and comfortable. There wasn't a plug or USB point beside the bed, though a socket was close enough for an alarm. A bright green ceiling light was annoying. The shower had no hot water at 1:30am, but there was plenty at 7am. Staff were friendly, cheerful and professional, and reception is open 24 hours. There's a large car park. I bought breakfast separately, and it was nice and good value.
