We’d happily come back to this super cute B&B. It’s in a handy spot for getting around, and our host was sweet and welcoming, with lots of good local tips and places to try.

Laurence and Fiona were such charming, accommodating hosts, and the breakfasts were some of the best. Gort Na Mona B&B was a lovely place to land in Ardara, County Donegal, Ireland. It was clean and comfortable, and the countryside setting really looked like the Ireland we’d seen in picture books, with rolling hills nearby, bleating sheep, and clucking chickens. They even had fresh eggs for breakfast. We were a large party, and all of us would gladly return and share a pint with them. Bravo, Fiona & Laurence! ☘️

The host’s hospitality gave our stay an extra bit of warmth and made it a memorable getaway. The rooms were tidy and cosy, and the B&B was pleasant and very clean. It felt like we were at home ❤️❤️. I’d highly recommend it if you’re after a comfortable, well-kept place to stay.

I first stayed here 10 years ago, and this was my second visit. Happily, it still has the same personal, home-visit feel, and the children have just grown up. The setting and the hosts are what make it special: lovely views, chickens that are fun to watch, and the warmth and friendliness of Fiona and Laurence. I’ll come back whenever I’m in Ardara. It’s a bit too far to walk into town at night, but the peace and quiet make up for that. Driving or getting a cab is quick and easy, and the taxi service is great. The rooms are nice and breakfast is great, too.

Just outside Ardara, this place has amazing views all around and was a real find in the heart of Donegal. The beds were so comfortable and the room was clean. Fiona and Laurrie were accommodating and great craic, and breakfast was second to none, with eggs from their own hens. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We’ll be back!
