The rooms were spotless, with a kettle, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar and a medicine refrigerator. The bathroom was a good size, and the large shower was easy to step into. Breakfast included a buffet with muffins, different breads, fresh and dried fruit, nuts, orange juice and a tasty green juice. There was also a small menu to order from, available from 8 to 10am. Desota house staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed 12 nights and would happily come back. One thing to keep in mind, a couple of rooms are on the ground floor, so ask for one of those if a flight of stairs would be difficult. It's about a 20 minute walk to Eyre Square one way, and 20 minutes the other way to Spanish arch along a canal. Nuns island, where there's wildlife, is a 10 minute walk.

There's plenty of choice at breakfast, the staff are friendly and helpful, and parking is available on site. The room is compact, but comfortable and clean. The location is great, about an 8 minute walk to town. With the canal and coast nearby, there are lots of running routes, and the local parkrun is just up the road.

Juliana gave us a warm welcome when we arrived at Desota House Bed and Breakfast in Galway. She was attentive, friendly and professional, and really made a difference to our two-night stay. Everything was spotless, tidy and well maintained, which made the place peaceful and comfortable. The care and attention throughout were outstanding. We enjoyed it more than we expected and would definitely return. I'd highly recommend Desota House for a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay in Galway.

The central location made it easy to walk to most attractions, and we had delicious breakfast each morning. My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Desota Bed & Breakfast. Our room was just right for two, with plenty of space for our things and a mini fridge that worked well for a longer visit. The ensuite had a roomy shower with excellent water pressure and a skylight. When we arrived, a staff member noticed all our luggage and kindly offered to help. The rest of the team were outstanding too.

Juliana was so kind and welcoming throughout our stay, and you could tell she really cares. The B&B is well placed for exploring the area, right in the centre but still quiet. Highly recommend it.
