Newcastle Townhouse

We were six ladies and check-in was easy. Having parking available was great, and Galway city was a 10-minute walk away.

The beds were nice and the place was clean, but there weren’t enough towels. Parking is for one vehicle.

The accommodation was nicely presented, and the location was nice.

The location was good, the bedding was fine, and the clean sheets and towels were appreciated. There was a washing machine too. The cleaning staff were really friendly and helpful, and without them we might never have got the apartment. But the stay was very disappointing and there was no welcome. We’d rented it for two nights to visit Galway, and even a basic hotel would have been much nicer. We’d given our arrival time when asked, but the apartment wasn’t ready, so we waited two hours. Some of the dishes were dirty and had to be washed before our first meal. The kitchen window wouldn’t close, leaving the living areas cold, especially in the evening. For a place advertised for six, the kitchen had only three chairs and a tiny table, so we had to eat on the sofa. The third bedroom door wouldn’t close at all, and there was no lock on the bathroom or toilet.
