The location was a real plus, with a pleasant 10-minute walk into Galway city centre. The guest house has charm, and our room was cozy with basic tea and coffee. But the kettle was scaled and the linens weren't as crisp as you'd expect. We like a warm room, and it got quite cold when the heating was turned off in the evening. The staff kindly switched it back on when we asked. The shower was the biggest problem: with four of us trying, we couldn't get a temperature between scalding hot and freezing cold. We skipped breakfast because of these issues. A decent location-based stay, but several practical things need improvement.

The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was nice, with delicious free range eggs. Our host was very kind, and the place was quiet and well located. Everything was perfect, totally recommended.

The walk into town was short, and we had secure parking for the car. Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious and spotless, with a little seating area that opened onto a balcony. The host was great, and the big breakfast kept us going all day. We stayed two nights and would come back when we're in Galway.

Teresa was so friendly and accommodating, and the cooked breakfast was super. The room was warm, comfortable, clean, and had plenty of tea, coffee, and chocolate bars. Eyre Square is only a short walk away. Excellent B&B, and I'd happily recommend Balcony House B&B.

Breakfast here is really good quality, with plenty to choose from, including some of the freshest salmon I've tasted. It felt well worth the 10 euro. The home has three floors, and there's a nice shared balcony on the second floor. Town is less than a 10 minute walk along sidewalks. Thanks for hosting us.
