Claremount House B&B

Anna and her family made our stay special with their warmth and hospitality. From the time we booked, Anna was helpful and accommodating. The house was so pristine I don’t think I saw a speck of dust, and our comfortable room looked out either over the bay or the back garden. Breakfast was lovely: Anna makes the brown bread every day, cooks well, and offers different main dishes as well as self-serve pastries, yogurt and fruit. If you’re after a B&B in Galway, I’d recommend staying at Claremount House.

The service here was over the top, and the staff helped us with everything we needed around Galway. Breakfast was incredible, with lots of choices. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets were even ironed, and the clean, well-appointed rooms were beautiful. This is the best-kept B&B we’ve stayed in anywhere in Ireland, and the location on the edge of town is perfect.

Anne’s care really shows in the spotless, beautifully appointed rooms and the sitting room looking out over the bay. She cooks breakfast herself for each guest, and mine was great. Her warmth and dedication made the stay feel like much more than a job to her, and I appreciated that. Thanks, Anne, for the welcome, the unforgettable breakfast and a wonderful two nights.
