Brenda made us feel looked after the whole time, from giving directions and information to sorting reservations. When our son had trouble with a rental car, she even let us use her phone to contact him. Breakfast was delicious: yogurt, fruit, breads and other choices each morning, plus hot dishes like eggs, bacon and blood pudding cooked to order. The dining room was lovely, and there was also a comfortable living room to sit together in. The rooms were immaculate, and the B&B has a water view. It's by a bus stop, and the walk into Galway is a scenic, flat 45 minutes. We'd happily recommend Salt Hill B and B and choose it again next time.

Brenda and her family went out of their way to make us comfortable. When we had trouble with our rental car, she helped us and even found a protractor for my daughter's math homework. She also booked us a dinner table and gave us driving directions. Breakfast was delicious and made to order, with generous portions of hot dishes such as eggs, sausages, bacon, pudding or crepes, plus fruit, yogurt, pastries, bread, tea or coffee, and juice. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. The location in Salthill was quiet, a few km outside Galway, with a view of the water, a nearby bus stop and an easy, flat 45-minute promenade walk into town. Brenda is a lovely, welcoming hostess and a great cook. We'd recommend staying here to anyone.

Brenda greeted us with a very welcome cup of tea when we arrived. The bedroom was clean, cosy and lovely, and breakfast was top quality and cooked really well. We had a great stay and will come back.

We enjoyed walking down to the beach after breakfast each morning. It was a lovely, filling start to the day. Ocean Villa B&B Galway is in the seaside village of Salthill, at the edge of Galway, with views over the Atlantic. Brenda was warm and welcoming, and the house felt clean and comfortable. We visited during Galway's unexpected Indian summer last month and would love to return for another little trip.

My bracelet went missing, but it was found at the B&B and safely sent back to me. The welcome was lovely and the fry was nice too. Highly recommend.
