The location was great, and we had a really enjoyable weekend at the Dean. The staff were all so pleasant and friendly. Megan made Valentine’s morning special with an extra special breakfast, and the manager kindly put the rugby on for us in the gorgeous little old-style bar. We’ll be back.

The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my solo work and holiday trip in Galway. I’d recommend the Dean. The pool area is small but comfortable, with a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. I also liked the ground-floor bar, and Sophie’s on the third floor was very nice for dinner and brekkie. It’s easy to get to the train, town and stadium. I enjoyed my stay.

Grace at reception deserves a special mention. She was a complete joy, and her professional, pleasant manner set the tone for our stay. The staff in every area were fantastic during our great weekend in Galway at the Dean Hotel. Can’t wait to come back soon.

The speakers who stayed overnight were impressed by the rooms’ modern yet rustic decor and found them very comfortable. We brought 40 young people to an event in The Dean Galway’s Blue Room in October 2025, and the beautifully decorated, modern space worked well. Reception was easy to reach whenever we needed something, like extra water or a temperature adjustment. The soup and toasties were delicious, and the staff made the day run seamlessly. We’ll definitely be back!

The heated pool and sauna were a godsend the day after our wedding. We celebrated at The Dean last weekend, and the staff looked after us so well. Everyone was attentive and friendly, and they made the day a dream come true. Many of our guests stayed at the hotel too and had nothing but praise for their stay, the food and the service. I can’t thank the team enough. We’ll absolutely be back!
